We featured Australian musician Chet Faker about a month ago with a few tracks including Chocolate & Cigarettes and Love & Feeling. His EP Thinking in Textures just debuted on Monday, it features an eclectic mix of electronic soul, R&B, and jazz that I haven't really come across in the past. With that said, I have the first three tracks featured down below.
Opening track "I'm Into You" as well as my personal favorite, "Terms and Conditions" oozes sensuality and soulfulness. I added in the third track simply because when it was released about a year ago it propelled Chet Faker into the musical spotlight. This track is a cover of Blackstreet's mid-90's classic "No Diggity," that I know all of you have heard. Chet takes this soft hip-hop jam and turns it into a soulful electro-hip-hop track that is worth the listen.
